This last week was a very difficult one for us. After much consideration we decided to leave the Cougars. It was a bittersweet decision. The Cougars was D's first travel team and we've made a lot of friends there but we are also excited about what the future holds with the Black Sox! To any Cougar peeps out there I hope to see you on the baseball field soon! :)The tourney this weekend went great. Dennis remains at second base and had two solid games despite a case of nervous jitters. The Black Sox were the number #1 seed after the pool play games. We were scheduled to play the championship game the next morning but it was rained out the the tourney was cancelled. On the bright side, the Black Sox were declared the winners and should be received their championship rings soon!
Luis Gonzales is signing a ball in the last photo. Dennis was excited to see him and he also had a baseball signed.
