Last weekend Dennis and I joined our friends for a goodbye party for friend Renee who is relocating to NYC. We are very excited for her and wish her well. By the way for those of you who don't know Renee is the one who introduced Dennis and I eleven years ago....

Updates

I know I've been slacking with the updates. With two kids in baseball and school plus my "homework" I've just been busy. Last weekend the Cougars played in the Halloween Scream tourney and did not play as well as they could have. Other than that Dennis made Principals List for earning straight A's and he just completed his Middle Ages Castle... Oh wait...I have a quick pic of the castle!

We are gearing up for Halloween this weekend. Billy has a party as his preschool on Thursday and Friday we are joining our friends and neighbors for trick or treating.

Lil' Sluggers First Game

After three long years of watching his brother play ball, Billy FINALLY got his turn!!! I'm not sure what he expected but it seemed he was not prepared to work so hard! He had fun playing before the actual game but during the game he preferred to dive for the ball and NOT get back up. Several times he had to be picked up by the coach (daddy) and reminded to watch the batter. Hitting is an entirely different story. He likes to hit and run the bases. He'd prefer to run all the way home at a single shot but the coaches have them wait their turn. And Billy is not the least bit concerned that sliding into home is prohibited in t-ball because he's watched the Cougars do it a million times and he does not know any other way!

We survived the first game. Billy complained that his cleats hurt his feet, he was tired (it was nap time), and thirsty. Finally, toward the end of the game he said he was ready to go home. LOL! On a side note....I have never seen so many parents with cameras and/or video equipment in my life. You'd have thought we were at the Junior Olympics or something!

Billy had such a good time at the pumpkin patch this year. We met many of our friends over at the farm and had a picnic lunch. We are soooo ready for Fall to come!

More T-ball

Billy's team is called the "Little Sluggers" and they have their first game this Saturday. Billy is very excited and anxious to wear his new cleats "like bro bro!" More pic's sure to come....
