PF Chang's Marathon

On Sunday morning Dennis ran in his 2nd Marathon and he beat is personal record with a time of 3:42:39! The boys and I (and my father) cheered him on at the half-way point in Phoenix and then we met him at the finish line in Tempe. My mother-in-law recorded the finish so maybe I'll upload a short video. We are so very proud of him. All of his hard work and early morning runs really paid off!

Billy had his first game today with his new T-ball team, The Spartans! Actually, daddy picked the team name as our team number is 300 and he is a big fan of the book and movie "300!" Billy really seems to enjoy t-ball this season and was excited to wear his new purple uniform. Billy's good friend Matisse (Tisse) from preschool is also on our team so that's extra fun!

Winter Wonderland

The weekend following New Years we went up north for a weekend getaway with our friends the Spata's. It would have been a perfect weekend but wouldn't you know it (big) Dennis finally got his turn with the stomach flu. He thought his "superior genes" allowed him skip the fun but unfortunately he was wrong. The above photos were taken of our cabin and the surrounding areas.

Sledding at Wing Mountain

On Saturday we drove to Flagstaff and played in the snow. Despite being sick Dennis took Billy sledding over and over again. The boys were frozen when we got back into the car. Good thing for seat warmers!!! Baby Nevaeh was such a good sport throughout the snow day despite the freezing weather. Dennis and Christine claimed ownership of an abandoned snowman and built a snow fort. Fun times!!!

Snowflakes in Sedona

On Sunday morning we awoke to falling snow. The kids were amazed. After breakfast we went on a nature walk and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and I finally had a chance to try out my new lens. I'm in love....
