Wildlife World Zoo

Title says it all! We went out west to the Wildlife World Zoo. It's an awesome place to visit if you've never been there! You are up close and personal with the animals as the pictures will show.

Billy and his two best friends had a play date yesterday at McCormick Ranch Railroad Park. The kids played on the playground, rode the train and carousel, and ate lunch and had ice cream cones. It was a beautiful day and Billy really enjoyed hanging out with the girls!

Thanks Sophia and Chloe for a fun day! And we can't forget baby Ella who slept the afternoon away!

AAU Spring Training Champions!

This weekend we traveled with The Cougars for our first out of town tourney in Tucson! We had a blast!!! Four games in beautiful 70 degree weather at a nice baseball park was the perfect way to spend a nice spring weekend. On Saturday night, Dennis and Coach John sponsered a team dinner at Lil Abner's steakhouse which was a lot of fun. On Sunday, the boys made it to the Chamionship game and pulled out a win! Little Dennis caught the third out that won the game and it was like something out of a movie. The coaches rushed the field and lifted him up and high-fived him. He was on cloud nine! And Billy didn't miss a beat! He "ran the bases" after every game and had is own cheering squad of ball players and parents.

New Park Pic's!!!

Billy at the park!!! The weather was perfect and Billy was in the mood for taking pics! What more could I ask for?

We're heading out of town this weekend for another baseball tourny. I should be back with a ton of pic's! I've also finished lesson #4 on white balance and just need to post the pics.

Billy's going to preschool........in the fall!

Billy will be attending a co-op prescool this fall. We found out this week that he is no longer on the waiting list and he will start school in August! He will be attending school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings with Miss. Debbie. He is turning in to such a big boy! Here's a link to the school if you're interested. Lesson 3 assignments

Assignment 1: Set your camera up on its tripod or other sturdy object. Take a photograph using your widest angle lens possible and another using your longest lens possible. Compose them both so they are as interesting as possible.

Assignment 2: Again, set your camera up and take two photographs - this time they should be exactly the same, but use your aperture to make your subject the only thing in focus in one of them and then to make everything in the picture in focus in the other one.Have fun and be creative!
