Where has the time gone?

I can't believe we are headed home tomorrow. This trip has been very busy but also very relaxing. On Tuesday night, the adults went out on a sunset cruise and dinner and ice cream. It was a great night. Dennis was very helpful with the nanny and bathed Billy and put him to sleep. Someday Billy will know how lucky he is to have Dennis for a brother.
On Wednesday we went to a water park in Ojai. The water parks here are very different from the ones at home. It was in the middle of a forest with camping areas within walking distance. The drive to Ojai was gorgeous and Daryl said it reminded him of Italy. The day at the park was great with the exception of the bees. Yes, there were bees EVERYWHERE! The lifeguards had this electronic paddles that they carried around to shock the bees. All in all it was a very fun day and I got very burnt! You don't realize you are getting so much sun when it's in the 70's!
Thursday, we spent the morning at a park and the kids played "red light, green light" and other fun games and then we went out for a pizza lunch. Dennis and Dennis went to the skate park again while Billy was napping and Dennis has become addicted to skate boarding! That evening the four adults went to a local Irish pub for Happy Hour and live music and returned in time for one of Daryl's famous fruit crisps for dessert. Daryl is an incredible chef if I haven't mentioned that previously.
Yesterday we got an early start and took a train to Ventura. The kids loved the train ride and Ventura is a cute town with a Main Street for shopping and several great places to eat. We decided on Italian food and it was delicious!
Today, our last day, and the weather is perfect! We took the kids down to the Harbor for sushi and Dennis is again headed to the skate park. Once Billy awakes will be spending the remainder of the day at the beach! The kids are excited and I'm hoping to catch some great pic's! Tonight we will have a little birthday celebration for Billy since the girls will miss his party next weekend.
And the best news....... Billy has been doing GREAT with potty training! We've had a few accidents in pull ups but he seems to get the hang of it! I hope the long car ride home tomorrow doesn't set us back too much!

I should have pic's uploaded for the next post!
